Last night I stopped by the Sesame Street Art Show at Known Gallery presented by The Seventh Letter & Neff Headwear. Check out the photos I took at the event. Proceeds from the art go to benefit City of Hope’s Department of Pediatrics.

This past Saturday I was pleased to once again attend BlackBook Sessions. This time the event took place at the Tee Shirt Spot in Lincoln Heights. Fighting 4 Dreams, The Wild Ones and Famous Stars & Straps were there supporting with free giveaways. Always good seeing the homie Maxx242 who was gracious enough to sign a couple of posters. One which might be up for grabs in a giveaway in the future.

July 14th – BlackBook Sessions 13 @ the Westwood Campus in Anaheim – Large event with celebrity guest!

This past Monday I headed out to Las Vegas for the Magic Tradeshow and the afterparty hosted by Famous Stars & Straps and UFC. If you’re in Las Vegas be on the look out for some of our slaps. I got some pics from a few booths at Magic. Famous Stars & Straps, OG Abel, DTA and The Seventh Letter were there to represent. Afterward I headed to the afterparty at The Palms for awesome performances by Yelawolf and The Transplants. Yelawolf mentioned an upcoming collaboration with Famous Stars & Straps called Country Fresh which he was wearing. Videos of the full Transplants set to come when time permits.

This past Friday The Transplants played their first show sine 2005 at The Roxy to a sold out crowd. I posted up some slaps early in the day. Check out the pics. The Mooneyes xmax car show is one show I try to attend every year. Unfortunately, this year was one of the years I was unable to make it. For those of you who were unable to make it to the Pintura Project event that was held on 10.8.2011 here is a video of what went on. Our good friends of The Garage were proud sponsors of the event and told me there was a great turn out of over 100+ people. Unfortunately, mother nature decided to drop some rain but that did not stop the event as it was moved into a warehouse. Peep the video!

Yesterday, 10.8.2011 was ‘The Big Takeover’ event between Famous Stars & Straps and REBEL8 at The Fast Life. This is the second event the two brands have done together and both events have had a great turn out. The crew and I headed down yesterday to do this event coverage on the event. It was a good time with a lot of good people, great music, live painting by Mike Giant and apperances by Joshy D., Cypress Hill, Travis Barker, Tim Armstrong and plenty more. The collaboration series consisted of many t-shirts, hoodies, snapbacks, fitteds, stickers and more. If you weren’t able to make it out to the event remember that starting today for a whole month The Fast Life is having a REBEL8 pop-up store. After the event we headed down to the Hollywood Bowl to watch Blink-182 perform with opening bands Matt and Kim and My Chemical Romance.
